Pros and Cons of Different LASIK Lasers

The new Allegretto laser provides excellent results for many different prescriptions. Icon's history with each laser platform tells the surgeons which laser provides the best results based on prior treatments. Therefore, the pros and cons of each laser are taken into consideration when the optometrist and surgeon recommend a particular laser for your vision correction. Many patients get 20/15 or better vision on the NIDEK laser where as others may need the Allegretto or VISX Custom Laser.
